ST's re-organisation into two product groups will take effect next week, starting on February 5th. The company has decided to split its operations into two distinct groups in order to better serve its customers and streamline its product offerings.
APMS Group
The first group, known as APMS (Analog, Power & Discrete, MEMS and Sensors), will be led by Marco Cassis. This group will encompass all of ST's analogue products, including their Smart Power solutions for the automotive industry. Additionally, APMS will also include ST's Power & Discrete product lines, which consist of SiC (Silicon Carbide) technology, MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems), and Sensors.
MDRF Group
The second group, known as MDRF (MCUs, Digital ICs and RF products), will be led by Remi El-Ouazzane. MDRF will focus on ST's digital integrated circuits (ICs) and microcontrollers (MCUs). This group will also handle automotive microcontrollers, RF (Radio Frequency) products, as well as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and Infotainment ICs.
Application Marketing Organisation
Jerome Roux will lead the application marketing organisation, which will cover four key end markets. These markets include Automotive Industrial Power and Energy, Industrial Automation, IoT (Internet of Things) and AI (Artificial Intelligence), Personal Electronics, and Communication Equipment and Computer Peripherals. This organisation will work closely with both the APMS and MDRF groups to ensure that ST's products are effectively marketed and tailored to meet the specific needs of each market segment.
It is important to note that the current regional Sales & Marketing organisation will remain unchanged. This ensures that ST's sales and marketing efforts continue to be executed seamlessly across different regions, providing consistent support to customers worldwide.
