SEALSQ recently showcased its post-quantum cryptography capabilities in a live demonstration at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos. The event featured a secure robotics concept that integrated post-quantum security, physical AI, and robotics in an interactive showcase. This demonstration marked a significant step in bringing quantum-resistant technologies from theory into real hardware platforms, emphasizing the importance of chip-level trust for future autonomous and AI-driven systems.

During the event, SEALSQ Corp presented its Post-Quantum Cryptography Robotic Concept, which showcased the WISeRobot developed in collaboration with WISeKey International Holding Ltd. The demonstration illustrated how quantum-resistant security can be directly embedded into physical AI and robotic systems. As quantum computing advances, traditional cryptographic standards are at risk, making the integration of post-quantum algorithms and hardware-based roots of trust crucial for ensuring security across silicon, firmware, and system levels.

Discussions at Davos highlighted the urgency of preparing for the post-quantum era. Experts warned that the convergence of AI and quantum computing could accelerate certain computations while increasing systemic risks if trust and security measures are not prioritized. Industry voices, including David Shrier from Imperial College London and Mark Hughes from IBM, emphasized the need for early action to protect digital identities, AI systems, and autonomous machines.
