ITG Electronics, a leading provider of electronic components, has announced that it will be featuring its latest 600Vac common-mode chokes at the upcoming Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC) in February. These chokes offer higher voltage ratings and more robust hipot isolation between two windings, making them ideal for industrial and under-the-hood inverter applications.
The hipot isolation of these chokes is an impressive 2,500Vac, ensuring reliable and safe operation. The company will be showcasing two series of chokes at the event: the C301306H, measuring 44 x 48 x 34mm, and the C301369H, measuring 34 x 35 x 26mm. These chokes are expected to find applications in motor control, air conditioning, and converters for electric cars.
In addition to the common-mode chokes, ITG Electronics will also be promoting its immersion-cooling technology and immersion-cooled 'power bead' inductors at APEC. These products are commonly used in artificial intelligence-enabled applications. The immersion cooling process helps power components stay cooler, allowing them to operate at faster processing speeds.
The liquid used in the immersion cooling process is a non-conductive dielectric, ensuring the safety of the components and PCBs. ITG Electronics has provided guidelines regarding compatibility for components and PCBs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Founded in 1963, ITG Electronics is headquartered in Elmsford, New York. The company will be located at booth 819 during the APEC event, which will take place from 25th to 29th February in Long Beach, California. Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to learn more about ITG Electronics' innovative products and solutions.
