DigiKey, in collaboration with LabsLand, has unveiled Prism4, a cutting-edge remote engineering hardware system that is set to revolutionize the way real-time, remote hardware systems are built.

Exclusively available through DigiKey, Prism4 is a modular system that supports a wide range of devices, including cameras, modular lights, and evaluation boards. The platform features Phase Dock workbench bases that allow for interactive attachment of devices through simple clicks and slides.

One of the key features of Prism4 is its ability to enable users to control and interact with target platforms while providing live video feedback. This functionality allows for real-time demonstration of outcomes and results, making it an invaluable tool for engineers, designers, and educators.

Each Prism4 unit is equipped with specific modules tailored for various technologies, such as FPGAs, microprocessors, and MCUs. This versatility makes Prism4 ideal for applications like remote laboratories, enabling remote education and training using actual hardware.

David Sandys, senior director of technical marketing at DigiKey, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with LabsLand, stating, "LabsLand has created an incredible technology that has the ability to control hardware platforms remotely anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By partnering with LabsLand to design and launch Prism4, DigiKey can now offer this technology solution to students, schools, engineers, and designers worldwide for real-time evaluation and education."
