Siemens CEO’s Term and Digital Contracts Extended for Five More Years

The Supervisory Board of Siemens has shown confidence in the current leadership by extending the contract of Roland Busch, President and CEO, for another five years. This decision reflects the board's endorsement of the strategic direction and the leadership team at Siemens.

The five-year contract extension for Roland Busch, who is 59 years old, will be effective from April 1, 2025. Additionally, the board has also extended the appointment of Cedrik Neike, aged 51, as a member of the Managing Board and CEO of Digital Industries for another five years starting from June 1, 2025.

"Siemens has the right strategy and the right leadership team to support future growth and success, building on a track record of outstanding operational execution and technology leadership," stated Jim Hagemann Snabe, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. "Roland Busch has successfully led a strong team with impressive results, driving the transformation journey of Siemens in a dynamic market environment."

"Cedrik Neike has played a pivotal role in leading the transformation of Digital Industries, solidifying leadership in industrial automation and software, while creating strong customer impact and shaping a winning culture as a role model leader of Siemens’ largest business," Snabe added.
