India's leading electric 2-wheeler manufacturer has recently made a groundbreaking announcement regarding a joint venture with Pragmatic Design Solutions (PDSL) in the UK. This collaboration aims to develop a cutting-edge scooter equipped with solid-state batteries, marking a significant advancement in electric vehicle technology.

The Epluto electric scooter, a result of the partnership between Pure EV and PDSL, boasts an impressive range of 250km, along with fast charging capabilities and an AI-based power-train for user-friendly troubleshooting. Anticipated to be launched early in 2025, this innovative vehicle is set to revolutionize the electric scooter market.

PDSL, known for its expertise in automotive technology development, has worked with prestigious brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, and Volkswagen. The joint venture with Pure, aiming to secure a funding of £30 to £40 million, will be based at the Coventry University Technology Park in the UK, a renowned hub for automotive innovation.

Headquartered in Hyderabad, India, Pure EV has established itself as a key player in the electric vehicle market, with a strong portfolio of over 120 IP filings. With a significant market share in the Indian EV motorcycle segment within a short span of time, the collaboration with PDSL signifies a strategic move towards global expansion for Pure EV.
