Cre8 Ventures, a program by Siemens, has launched a scale-up initiative aimed at supporting silicon startups through an innovative scheme at Cambridge University in the UK. This initiative provides a unique opportunity for founders to transition from the impulse scheme to the Cre8Ventures program, offering tailored resources for silicon startups.

The 12-week impulse program at Cambridge University is designed specifically for technology innovators. Participants benefit from mentorship, networking opportunities, market analysis, and business development support. One of the standout features of the program is access to the Siemens Silicon Digital Twin marketplaces.

These cloud-based environments allow startups to simulate the entire lifecycle of semiconductor products, enabling them to optimize designs, test prototypes, and predict performance before physical production. This capability is particularly valuable for advanced semiconductors, where production costs can range from $20 million to $30 million.

Through the Cre8 scheme, startups can develop proof-of-technology, proof-of-concept, and proof-of-value for their silicon products. The program offers a Route-to-Product through a Pop-Up Lab, providing collaborative access to Siemens and Mentor EDA tools, subsystem silicon twins, and full system digital twins.

In addition to facilitating product development, the initiative opens doors to both non-dilutive and dilutive EU Chips Act funding opportunities. Founders are also introduced to a network of deeptech investors, enabling them to secure capital and navigate market trends effectively.

Moreover, Cre8Ventures supports startups in overcoming the challenges of market entry. Participants gain access to Siemens' business interests, promotional opportunities, strategic partnerships, and the company's global World Trade customer relationships.
