Spectrum Instrumentation has introduced a new flagship range consisting of seven digitizers with 12-bit resolution and impressive bandwidths of up to 4.7GHz. The DN2.33x series offers a variety of models, including one or two channel variants with maximum sampling rates of 3.2, 5, and 10 GS/s. These digitizers are designed to meet the needs of R&D and industrial users, providing a complete measurement solution for a wide range of applications.

One of the key features of the DN2.33x series is the ability to connect directly to PCs, laptops, or company networks using an Ethernet/LXI cable. This seamless connectivity allows for easy integration into existing systems, making it convenient for scientists and engineers to use these digitizers in their projects. With sampling rates ranging from 3.2 GS/s to 10 GS/s, along with 12-bit vertical resolution and bandwidths up to 4.7 GHz, users have a range of options to choose from based on their specific requirements.

Front panel connectors on the digitizers provide a simple way to integrate the units into ATE applications. These connectors offer dedicated lines for external clock and trigger signals, as well as multi-purpose lines for various functions such as Asynchronous Digital Inputs or Outputs, Synchronous Digital Inputs, Trigger, Clock Outputs, or Run and Arm status flags. Additionally, there is an option for a high-speed Digital Pulse Generator if needed, adding to the versatility of these digitizers.

Each channel in the DN2.33x series features its own ADC and independent front-end signal conditioning, complete with calibrated gain and offset. The input ranges are fully programmable, allowing for flexibility in signal processing. Dual-channel models have synchronously clocked ADCs to minimize phase errors and enable precise cross-channel measurements. With fast sample rates and large on-board memory, these digitizers can capture and store long or complex signals efficiently.

The digitizers come equipped with smart trigger and acquisition modes that enable users to capture problem signals effectively. Features such as Transient Capture, Multiple Recording, and optional Block Averaging are supported, providing users with a range of tools to analyze and store data. Instrument control is managed through the SBench 6 Professional software, which is included with each unit at no additional cost. Alternatively, engineers can develop their own application-specific code using the provided software development kits.

Rackmount kits are available for easy installation of the digitizers in standard 19-inch racking systems. Spectrum Instrumentation offers a 5-year warranty on the instruments, along with free software and firmware updates for the lifetime of each unit. Service and spare parts support are provided for approximately 15 to 20 years, ensuring the longevity and reliability of these digitizers for years to come.
