Elektor is gearing up to host an online conference on April 15, 2026, focusing on the utilization of the RISC-V standard instruction set architecture (ISA). This architecture is gaining prominence in embedded systems and microcontrollers due to its open, modular, and highly customizable nature. The organizers are actively seeking RISC-V experts to submit compelling presentation proposals for the conference. The call for presentations will remain open until January 16.

The event, titled “RISC-V – Open Architecture for Embedded, AI, and Automotive,” is designed for a diverse audience including embedded systems engineers, hardware design engineers, firmware and software developers, automotive and mobility engineers, semiconductor industry professionals, scientific researchers, and students. Attendees can expect to gain insights into expertise, trends, and practical experiences relevant to their respective fields.

Call for Presentations: What Are We Looking for?

Elektor is specifically interested in presentations that cater to the target audience and cover a range of topics. These include an overview of the RISC-V ISA and extensions, user-defined instructions and domain-specific architectures, trends in modular designs, open-source chip design, firmware development, software porting and optimization, cybersecurity, software-defined vehicle architectures, regulatory requirements, ADAS and autonomous systems, AI acceleration, educational resources, open standards, and business cases.

The expected duration for each presentation is 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session. The finalized program is anticipated to be released in early February, after which tickets for the online conference will be available for purchase.

It is worth noting that eeNews Europe is a publication under Elektor International Media, emphasizing the collaborative nature of the event and its alignment with industry publications.
