Established in 2000, Intron Ltd, a computer hardware and software research and development company, leader in HDL design tools development, proposes design of FPGA-based application-specific processors (ASP) according to the customer’s specification which includes: an algorithm, which an ASP must execute, described on C language; test vectors for functional verification; an interface of the processor which includes: the number of input/output signals and their width, time specification (diagram) of reading input data items and writing output results; data format (width, signed/unsigned, float or fixed point); maximum latency of algorithm execution (time between the moment of the last input data item entering to the ASP and the moment of the last output result outcoming from the ASP); FPGA type in which the ASP will be implemented and pin assignment information.
