Nexperia Hit by Cyberattack

Reports from local news sources have revealed that Nexperia, a semiconductor company, may have fallen victim to a significant data breach. Sensitive information pertaining to major customers like Apple and Huawei is believed to have been compromised, with hackers allegedly demanding a ransom for its return.

Nexperia has taken swift action in response to the breach, notifying the Dutch Data Protection Authority and law enforcement authorities. The company is currently working alongside cybersecurity experts from FoxIT to investigate the security incident and assess the extent of the breach.

We also launched an investigation with the support of third-party experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident and took strong measures to terminate the unauthorized access."
