Orby Teams Up with Databricks for Generative AI Automation

Orby has recently become a member of the Built On Partner Program by Databricks, marking a significant milestone in its journey towards innovation. By leveraging Databricks Mosaic AI, Orby is now able to pretrain, build, deploy, and monitor its groundbreaking Large Action Model, ActIO. This deep learning model is designed to interpret actions and execute complex tasks based on user inputs, setting it apart from conventional Large Language Models (LLMs) that primarily focus on language interpretation and response generation.

Unlike traditional LLM approaches, Orby's unique Large Action Model (LAM) is centered around observing actions to automate tasks and make informed decisions. The LAM essentially watches a user in action, identifies opportunities for automation, and generates the necessary actions to streamline the process. Users have the flexibility to review and modify these actions as needed, enabling continuous enhancement as Orby continues to learn and adapt.

Enabling generative AI to deliver tangible value to enterprises necessitates the incorporation of diverse inputs to facilitate rapid contextual reasoning. While existing open source and proprietary LLMs are trained on vast amounts of data, they are predominantly focused on a single modality: language.
