Tumbler Technologies and TRUMPower has developed a 1000W AC-DC power supply for PCs used in medical appliances
The TMPC-1000 AC-DC power supply has no minimum load requirements and up to 2000W peak power capability. The power supply meets the ATX format with dimensions of 165 mm x 150 mm x 86 mm and meets the latest medical 60601-1 and ITE 62368-1 safety standards. The dual approvals for the power supply allow it to be used in various industrial and medical applications requiring high power output.
- 200W medical grade GaN-based adaptor
The AC-DC power supply is equipped with DC voltage outputs and maximum loads of +3.3V/25A, +5V/25A, +12V/83.3A, -12V/0.5A, and +5Vsb/3.5A respectively. While not standard for this model, there is an option to add a -5V/0.2A output upon request. Its maximum overall output is 1,000W, with +3.3V and +5V providing a combined maximum load of 150W. The maximum output power for +12V must not exceed 1000W.
The power supply complies with 80PLUS GOLD efficiency standards and also ATX12V V3.0 standards and operates at a high operating altitude of 5,000 meters maximum.
It has BF class isolation and withstand voltages of 4,000 VAC for input to output (2MOPP), 1,500 VAC for input to ground (1MOPP), and 1,500 VAC for output to ground. The highly reliable power supply is capable of over 100,000 hours MTBF at full load, 25°C ambient, calculated per MIL-HDBK-217F.
The TMPC-1000 is certified to the latest medical standards, including UL/IEC/EN 60601-1 (Edition 3.2), ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1:2005/A2:2021, and CAN/CSA-C22.2 NO. 60601-1:14/A2:22 (R2022). It is also certified to IEC 62368-1 (3rd edition). The power supply complies with IEC/EN 60601-1-2 edition 4.1 medical EMC and immunity standards including EN 55011/EN55022, FCC/VCCI class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3, EN 61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN 61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-5, EN 61000-4-6, EN 61000-4-8, and EN 61000-4-11.
