Ambiq has joined forces with Bravechip Technology in China to develop an innovative AI chiplet tailored for smart ring designs. This collaboration aims to enhance the functionality and efficiency of smart rings through cutting-edge technology.

The Bravechip Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) System in a Package (SIP) and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) for the BCL603S3L chiplet leverage the Ambiq Apollo3 Blue sub-threshold microcontroller. This setup enables the chiplet to deliver high performance while operating at ultra-low power levels, making it ideal for a variety of applications.

The BCL603S3L chiplet, with the Apollo3 Blue as its master control, is designed to optimize the CPU for power efficiency, achieving impressive power levels of 6 uA/MHZ. Its sub-threshold design plays a crucial role in reducing active power consumption for tasks such as monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen levels, blood pressure, sleep patterns, step counting, and various other applications.

Furthermore, Ambiq has also collaborated with Invensense to develop an energy harvesting reference design, showcasing the company's commitment to advancing technology in the wearables sector.

Bravechip Technology, established in late 2018, specializes in packaging multiple bare dies together using advanced techniques to offer chip-level solutions to end-users. Their products find applications in various sectors, including medical, industrial, and home automation, catering to the growing demand for IoT solutions.
