PULS has introduced a new 480W DIN-rail power supply, the CP20.248-IOL, featuring an IO-Link interface and integrated display. This high-reliability 24 VDC power supply is designed for operation monitoring and remote control. Operators can customize power supply and application data in real-time using the built-in IO-Link interface and front panel display. This enables timely adjustments to the system and remote on/off switching capabilities.
Based on the successful DIMENSION CP20 series, which has seen millions of units sold, the CP20.248-IOL retains popular features like permanent 20% BonusPower at temperatures up to 45°C, active power factor correction (PFC), and electronic inrush current limitation. The power supply boasts high energy efficiency with a peak efficiency of 95.5% and minimal power losses.

Despite the additional communication features, the CP20.248-IOL maintains a width of 48 mm to ensure it fits into compact control cabinets. Weighing only 835g, the power supply exerts minimal stress on the DIN rail, making installation easier and more convenient.
“The CP20.248-IOL enhances an already excellent power supply,” says Marco Ahrens, Product Manager for DIMENSION products at PULS GmbH. “By integrating a high-end power supply with an IO-Link interface and display, this power supply is well-equipped to meet current and future automation needs.”
The DIN-rail power supply CP20.248-IOL, along with other variants featuring EtherCAT, is now available for purchase. With its advanced features and reliable performance, this power supply is set to meet the demands of modern automation systems.
