The Drive Core bundles bring together pre-integrated software and tools from Infineon and third-party providers, offering a seamless user experience for developers. Under a three-month evaluation license, customers can access these bundles for the Aurix, Traveo, and PSOC microcontrollers, simplifying the software development process and reducing commercial complexity.

Infineon unveiled the first five software bundles at Embedded World 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany, showcasing the capabilities of the Aurix, Traveo T2G, and PSOC 4 HV microcontrollers. These bundles include the Aurix TC4s chip, the high voltage PSOC 4 for touch displays and smart sensing, and the addition of SAE 21434 security to Traveo MCUs.

The Aurix Drive Core AI bundle stands out for its integration of third-party tools and software components, enabling developers to evaluate the Parallel Processing Unit (PPU) in the latest TC4x microcontroller efficiently. This bundle supports a model-based design flow with MATLAB Simulink and the Aurix Hardware support package, offering a comprehensive solution for automotive engineers.

Drive Core for Autosar is another essential bundle designed to streamline AUTOSAR-based projects for safety applications like ADAS or zone controllers. It includes Infineon’s MCAL driver, MICROSAR Classic from Vector, and Tasking’s certified development toolchain for TC4x. The Drive Core NEUSAR bundle targets the Chinese automotive market, providing a full AUTOSAR classic solution with TC4x, including a full-stack security solution and a bootloader certified according to ISO 21434 ASIL-D.

The Traveo T2G Drive Core Graphics bundle enables customers to evaluate the Traveo T2G for cockpit applications, offering a hardware abstraction layer, graphics drivers, an IAR compiler, and advanced graphics capabilities. Lastly, the PSOC 4 HV Drive Core Control bundle features Vector’s MICROSAR IO base layer for small mechatronic electronic control units in automotive applications, emphasizing cost efficiency, reusability, and OEM independence.
