Alpha and Omega (A&O) has recently unveiled their latest innovation in power electronics - a double-side-cooled 100V 197A (25°C) mosfet. This cutting-edge device, named AONA66916, comes in a compact 5 x 6mm DFN package.

The AONA66916 mosfet boasts impressive thermal performance, with a thermal resistance of 0.5°C/W from the junction to the top surface and 0.55°C/W to the bottom surface. This efficient cooling design ensures optimal heat dissipation, allowing the device to operate at its full potential.

"One of the key advantages of the AONA66916 is its top-exposed DFN 5x6 package, which shares the same footprint as A&O's standard DFN 5x6 package," stated a representative from the company. "This eliminates the need for any modifications to existing PCB layouts, making it a seamless upgrade for our customers."

With an on-resistance of only 3.4mΩ, the AONA66916 mosfet offers low power losses and high efficiency. Its gate is rated to ±20V, providing flexibility in various applications. Additionally, the device can withstand a maximum junction temperature of 175°C, ensuring reliable operation even in demanding conditions.
