FPGA recognition AI system for PPE

Innodisk has developed an AI-based video recognition system to ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is correctly worn.

The InnoPPE recognition system runs on an AMD FPGA or Intel x86 processor to process four or more video streams at once. These streams use AI to check on PPE such as safety helmets and gloves and integrates with existing surveillance systems.

This provides real-time feedback to helps reduce safety risks without affecting operational efficiency in industries such as manufacturing and energy extraction.
