Intel, along with a group of investors including DigitalBridge, Fin Capital, Mindset Ventures, Communitas Capital, GiantLeap Capital, GS Futures, and Zain Group, has joined forces to create Articul8. This new venture aims to provide enterprise customers with a comprehensive, secure, and vertically-optimized GenAI software platform.
The primary focus of Articul8's platform is to deliver AI capabilities while ensuring that customer data, training, and inference remain within the enterprise security perimeter. Additionally, the platform offers customers the flexibility to choose between cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployment options.
Articul8 is built upon the intellectual property and technology developed at Intel. As a result, the two companies will continue to work closely together, identifying go-to-market opportunities and collaborating to drive GenAI adoption in the enterprise. Arun Subramaniyan, formerly a vice president and general manager in Intel's Data Center and AI Group, has taken on the role of CEO at Articul8.
One of the key claims made by Articul8 is that it provides large enterprise customers with speed, security, and cost-efficiency, enabling them to effectively operationalize and scale AI within their organizations. The platform was initially launched and optimized on Intel hardware architectures, including Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Intel Gaudi accelerators. However, it is designed to support a range of hybrid infrastructure alternatives.
