Fortec Integrated has recently unveiled an innovative 3.5-inch format single-board computer known as the IB961, featuring a selection of Intel Raptor Lake processors. Developed by the reputable Taiwanese company iBase, the IB961 is available in four distinct versions, offering versatility and performance for various applications.

One of the standout features of the IB961 is its ability to support up to 32GB of RAM through a single SO-DIMM slot. This capability allows for enhanced multitasking and efficient handling of memory-intensive tasks, making it a suitable choice for demanding computing environments.

"The IB961 utilizes a hybrid architecture where the e-cores efficiently manage system tasks, with the p-cores being activated only during high-demand computing operations," explained Fortec product manager Thomas Schrefel. This intelligent design ensures optimal performance while maximizing energy efficiency.

For enhanced connectivity and display capabilities, the IB961 offers support for up to four displays through two DisplayPort 1.2 ports, one LVDS interface, and one eDP interface. This feature makes it ideal for signage applications and other scenarios that require multiple display outputs.

The IB961 is equipped with a range of interfaces, including six USB ports (four type-A and two via a header), two 2.5Gbit/s LAN interfaces, and three M.2 slots (M, E, and B-Key) for Wi-Fi and 5G communication. These interfaces enable seamless integration with various peripherals and networking devices, expanding the board's functionality.
