Rohm, a leading semiconductor manufacturer, has unveiled a groundbreaking operational amplifier designed specifically for industrial and consumer applications. The new amplifier, named LMR1002F-LB, features a unique 'zero-drift' architecture that sets it apart from other amplifiers in the market.

The LMR1002F-LB boasts impressive specifications, with a maximum input offset of 9µV and 50nV/°C. These figures are significantly better than the typical values of 1µV and 15nV/°C found in other amplifiers. This exceptional performance ensures accurate and reliable operation in a wide range of applications.

One of the key features of the LMR1002F-LB is its chopper architecture. This innovative design allows for precise amplification with minimal offset and drift. The input current is typically 150pA at 25°C, with an offset of only 10pA. Both the inputs and output of the amplifier are rail-to-rail, providing maximum flexibility in signal processing.

The LMR1002F-LB also offers a gain-bandwidth product of 1.5MHz and a slew-rate of 1.3V/μs. These specifications ensure fast and accurate signal amplification, making the amplifier suitable for a wide range of applications, including sensor interfaces, data acquisition systems, and audio amplification.

Furthermore, the LMR1002F-LB operates over a wide voltage range of 2.7 to 5.5V and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to +125°C. This robustness makes it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments where temperature variations are common. The amplifier is packaged in a compact 5 x 6.20mm SOP8 package, allowing for easy integration into existing systems.
