With the recent acquisition of 3DOT Solutions, Nortal is set to expand its presence in the UK and reinforce its cybersecurity and defence business across Europe, the US, and the GCC.

Established in 2012, 3DOT Solutions is a renowned UK consultancy specializing in providing comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for both private and public sector clients facing complex cyber and IT security challenges. The company has built a strong reputation working with central government departments, military agencies, and intelligence services.

Commenting on the acquisition, Priit Alamäe, CEO and founder of Nortal, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "The combination of extensive experience in the defence sector, a stellar reputation among its clientele, and profound cybersecurity knowledge positions 3DOT Solutions as an ideal partner for us. This acquisition will significantly enhance our cybersecurity capabilities to meet the rising demand for cybersecurity services in the US, the GCC, and Europe, spanning various sectors."

By integrating 3DOT Solutions' experts into Nortal's global team of over 2,000 professionals, Nortal aims to broaden its service offerings in the UK and cater to the increasing need for cybersecurity services in Europe and the US. Together, the combined entity will provide a wide array of cybersecurity services, ranging from security architecture consultations to cyber resilience and compliance, cybersecurity program development and implementation, IT/OT security, and cyber range and R&D services, serving businesses, national defence, and security organizations.

Michael Hampson, CEO of 3DOT Solutions, sees the merger as a strategic growth opportunity for the team, stating, "Joining forces with Nortal opens up new avenues for expansion. Our mutual goal is to strengthen our presence in the UK, extend into Europe, NATO countries, the 'Five Eyes' alliance, and explore new markets globally. The synergy between Nortal's established success and 3DOT's cybersecurity and defence expertise creates a unique proposition to meet the evolving cybersecurity needs of our clients."

According to Statista, the global cost of cybercrime is estimated at a staggering 9.22 trillion U.S. dollars, with the average data breach costing around 4.35 million U.S. dollars. Hampson predicts that these figures will continue to rise due to the rapid pace of digitalization and escalating geopolitical tensions.

Addressing the pressing need for cyber resilience, Hampson added, "Our objective is to assist government entities and businesses of all sizes in building cyber-resilient organizations with secure digital infrastructures, robust systems, and safeguarded supply chains."
