QuickLogic, a leading provider of ultra-low power multi-core voice-enabled SoCs, has recently announced its participation in two significant alliances within the semiconductor industry. The company has joined the Intel Foundry Accelerator Alliance and has become a member of USMAG – the US Military, Aerospace, Government Alliance.

As part of its collaboration with the Intel Foundry Accelerator Alliance, QuickLogic plans to leverage its proprietary Australis IP generator to develop and deliver customer-definable eFPGA Hard IP cores optimized for the Intel 18A process. The Australis IP generator offers a wide range of customizations, including LUT densities, block RAM configurations, embedded DSP block configurations, and support for various operating environments.

QuickLogic's decision to join USMAG underscores its commitment to serving the defense and aerospace sectors with innovative semiconductor solutions. By aligning with USMAG, QuickLogic aims to contribute its expertise in developing advanced technologies that meet the stringent requirements of military and government applications.

In addition to its collaborations with industry alliances, QuickLogic has also announced strategic partnerships with other semiconductor companies. The company is set to collaborate with YorChip to develop FPGA chiplets, a move that is expected to drive innovation in the field of field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).

Furthermore, QuickLogic has teamed up with Everspin to work on the development of radiation-hardened FPGAs. This partnership highlights QuickLogic's focus on addressing the unique challenges faced in high-reliability applications, such as those in space and defense systems.
