The latest innovation in wireless technology comes in the form of the FXM100 Wi-Fi antenna, designed to provide a 2-in-1 solution for improved wireless coverage across multiple frequency bands. This antenna can be easily mounted on the Taoglas TMJG4926HENL or any standard 1x1 RJ45 connector, offering designers space-saving options and layout flexibility.

One of the key advantages of mounting the FXM100 antenna on the jack is that it frees up valuable real estate on the PCB. By utilizing the jack as the antenna ground plane, the FXM100 delivers enhanced wireless performance, particularly in the 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, and 7.1 GHz bands. This omnidirectional dipole antenna is compatible with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6 / 6E, and Wi-Fi 7, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial robotics and test and measurement systems.

AntJack, as the combined solution is known, is particularly well-suited for complex MIMO designs where antenna location and positioning play a crucial role. This is especially important in scenarios where space is limited, such as in 4x4 or 8x8 MIMO configurations. Designers often face challenges related to layout constraints and interference from metal components, which can lead to signal distortion.

While it is sold as a standalone Wi-Fi antenna, customers have the option to acquire Taoglas magnetic connectors and high-end ethernet cables alongside the FXM100 for optimized bill of materials (BOM) costs. Furthermore, the antenna can be customized to fit different sizes of RJ45 connectors, including 1x2, 2x2, and MxN configurations, providing additional flexibility for diverse applications.
