The connectors offered by ENNOVI provide a unique and cost-effective approach to accommodating different pin count requirements using the same basic interconnect platform. This innovative solution eliminates the need for additional expenses or engineering efforts, making it a highly efficient choice for various applications.

The multi-row BTB connectors from ENNOVI feature the company's patented 0.4-mm miniPLX™ press-fit terminals, which are made from a copper alloy with very low levels of contact resistance (<1 mΩ). Each pin is capable of carrying a current of up to 3A. Additionally, the optional coating of these pins with ENNOVI's IndiCoat™ plating technology helps prevent tin whisker build-up, reducing the risk of short circuits and extending the operational lifespan of the connectors.

ENNOVI-MB2B connectors are designed to meet a wide range of board stacking heights, from 7mm to 30mm. They can have between 1 and 6 rows, with each row accommodating up to 30 contact terminals. These rugged connectors are built to withstand challenging conditions, including high humidity levels, mechanical shock, and vibration, making them ideal for demanding environments.

"Our new ENNOVI-MB2B stackable interconnect platform offers our clients the perfect balance between space efficiency and cost-effectiveness," says Ralph Semmeling, Product Portfolio Director at ENNOVI. "By providing off-the-shelf products at attractive price points with the flexibility of customization, we empower companies to design cost-effective solutions tailored to their specific needs."

The robust and high-density multi-row BTB connectors are set to target a wide range of applications, with a particular focus on electric vehicles (EVs). These connectors are well-suited for Electric Power Steering (EPS) and Electronic Control Unit (ECU) functions in EVs, offering a reliable and efficient solution for critical automotive applications.
