The UK Space Agency is once again offering a competitive scholarship scheme for UK citizens to attend study programmes at the International Space University (ISU). The ISU provides graduate-level training at its Central Campus in Strasbourg, France, as well as other locations such as Boston and Adelaide. The curriculum covers a wide range of disciplines related to space programmes and enterprises, including space science, space engineering, systems engineering, space policy and law, business and management, and space and society.

This year, the UK Space Agency has allocated a total of £95,000 to be shared among successful UK citizen applicants. The deadline for applications is 2 February. It is important to note that any funds awarded will be paid directly to the ISU on behalf of the recipients.

There are two programmes available for support: the Space Studies Programme and the MSS Programme. If you are a UK citizen, you can apply for these programmes through the ISU website, which provides application forms and further instructions.

The International Space University, founded in 1987 as a non-profit organisation, is the only university in the world dedicated entirely to space education. It has a global network with a Central Campus in Strasbourg, hubs in the USA and the Asia-Pacific region, and partnerships with leading space organizations worldwide. With 5400 alumni in 110 countries, including astronauts, entrepreneurs, and current and former space industry and government leaders, ISU has been a 35-year success story in shaping the international space ecosystem.
