VueReal to Establish Pilot Line for MicroLED Display Assembly

The innovative company VueReal is making significant strides in the microLED display industry by applying its cutting-edge transfer system to full-color displays. CEO Reza Chaji believes that this versatile system can be utilized across various technologies, such as chiplets, sensors, and light sources, showcasing the company's commitment to innovation and adaptability.

Currently, VueReal has the capacity to produce between 50,000 and 100,000 displays annually in a prototyping facility. However, Chaji has revealed plans to double the manufacturing space and introduce a state-of-the-art production line capable of meeting customer demands for small volumes of displays. The ambitious goal is to scale up production to 1 million displays per year, demonstrating VueReal's dedication to growth and expansion.

VueReal's microLED displays are typically crafted on Gen2 display glass substrates measuring 400mm by 300mm. Looking ahead, the company is working towards scaling up to larger substrates, aiming for dimensions of 1850mm by 200mm. With a track record of supplying displays and lighting solutions to the automotive sector, VueReal is now setting its sights on the consumer market, with a focus on wearable devices and televisions.

The introduction of a pilot and small volume production line not only enhances VueReal's manufacturing capabilities but also serves as a blueprint for customers looking to integrate a MicroSolid Printing assembly unit within their own facilities. Drawing parallels to the ink printing market, where small-scale photocopiers and printing units are commonly used in offices, VueReal envisions itself as a supplier of cartridges, providing essential components for display production.

VueReal is strategically positioning itself to cater to two distinct markets in the microLED display assembly sector: established display manufacturers with existing infrastructure and smaller custom producers. While larger manufacturers may already possess the necessary equipment, smaller customers stand to benefit from VueReal's turnkey solution, enabling them to kickstart production and scale operations efficiently.
