AA Manufacturing Expands PCBA and CEM Capabilities

Alan Anderson (AA) Manufacturing, the UK’s newest full-capability PCBA and Value-Add CEM, is making significant strides in its growth by expanding its workforce. This expansion includes the hiring of a key new executive and a team of skilled manufacturing staff. The company's decision to bolster its team comes as part of a multi-million-pound investment in state-of-the-art equipment aimed at providing top-notch electronics manufacturing services.

"We are establishing a world-class facility here in the UK, offering a comprehensive range of services including PCBA capabilities, programming, procurement, and logistics all under one roof. The top-tier equipment we have acquired demands top-tier personnel," explains operations director Philip Bray.

One of the notable additions to AA Manufacturing is Michael Knight, who joins as the sales director. Knight brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously held a similar position at another prominent UK CEM. His expertise is expected to play a crucial role in driving the company's sales and market expansion strategies.

In addition to Knight, the company has welcomed four new production staff members and two SMT engineers to its team. Interestingly, the two SMT engineers have a history of working together in a cohesive team at a UK plant that is transitioning its operations offshore. This consolidation of talent is seen as a strategic move to enhance AA Manufacturing's capabilities and competitiveness in the market.
