Affordable Op Amp Delivers Quality Performance for Entry-Level Applications

Nisshinbo Micro Devices has expanded its MUSES family of op amps with the introduction of the NL8802, an entry-level device that offers a great balance between sound quality, performance, and cost. This new addition integrates two high-performance op amps into a single package, providing increased flexibility and efficiency for circuit design.

The NL8802 is designed to support a wide operating voltage range of ±22 V, making it compatible with various power supply configurations. This feature enables the op amp to be seamlessly integrated into Hi-Fi and professional audio equipment, enhancing its versatility.

One of the key advantages of the NL8802 is its wide dynamic range, which is achieved through its low noise and distortion characteristics, wide bandwidth, and high slew rate. These audio features ensure that the op amp delivers high-quality sound reproduction with minimal interference or distortion.

The NL8802 is available in two package options. The NL8802AN comes in an EMP-8-AN package, measuring 5.0 x 6.0 x 1.65 mm. Additionally, the NL8802GQ package, which is currently under development, will be available in a DFN3030-8-GQ package.
