Ventiva, a leading technology company, has introduced its latest innovation in thermal management systems designed to cool electronic equipment efficiently and effectively.

The Ventiva ICE9, the company's newest offering, utilizes intelligent software control to regulate airflow, catering to a total design power of up to 30 watts. This cutting-edge system boasts a compact size ranging from 2mm to 5mm in height and 15mm to 70mm in width, providing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with the flexibility to create space-efficient form factors or seamlessly integrate ICE9 into a variety of devices, including laptops, tablets, smartphones, AR/VR headsets, high-definition televisions, wireless charging devices, and gaming electronics.

Moreover, the recent funding of $80 million for Frore Systems and $196 million for AirJet MEMS cooling underscores the growing importance of advanced cooling technologies in the electronics industry. These investments highlight the industry's recognition of the critical role that innovative thermal management solutions play in enhancing device performance and longevity.

The ICE technology employed by Ventiva operates by moving ionized air molecules within an electric field. This field is established between two electrodes: a high-voltage wire known as the emitter and a ground electrode called the collector. As the electric field interacts with molecules of nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and other trace elements in the air, ions are generated and repelled from the positively charged emitter.

As these positively charged ions progress towards the collector, they enter the ion drift zone, where collisions with neutral air molecules occur, imparting momentum to the molecules and propelling them towards the collector. This process initiates a chain reaction, resulting in a significant airflow controlled by intelligent software, ensuring efficient cooling of electronic devices.

With the rapid advancement in artificial intelligence and high-definition graphics, the demand for enhanced processing power in electronic devices has surged, necessitating superior heat transfer technologies to prevent overheating. Carl Schlachte, the CEO and Chairman of Ventiva, emphasized the significance of ICE9 in addressing these evolving needs, stating, "ICE9's revolutionary technology offers a silent and vibration-free heat transfer solution that caters to the power requirements of integrated circuits and AI-enabled devices, enhancing performance and user experience."

Schlachte further added, "Ventiva's disruptive presence in the electronics industry is evident through ICE9, providing OEMs with a compact cooling solution that streamlines their designs. Engineers appreciate the versatility offered by our innovative cooling technology, while consumers benefit from silent, slim, and vibration-free devices capable of meeting their performance expectations."
