DeepX Secures $80.5M Funding for AI Advancement

The latest funding round for DeepX, a Korean AI semiconductor startup, has successfully raised a significant amount of capital to expedite the mass production of its first product line. The company announced that the funds will also be utilized for the development and launch of next-generation LLM on-device solutions.

The investment round was led by SkyLake Equity Partners, a prominent investment firm, with contributions from BNW Investments and AJU IB. Additionally, existing stakeholder TimeFolio Asset Management participated in the funding round, further solidifying their support for DeepX's innovative technology.

SkyLake Equity Partners, now the second-largest shareholder of DeepX, was established by DaeJe Chin, a distinguished figure in the technology industry. Chin, a former Minister of Information and Communication and a veteran of Samsung Electronics, played a pivotal role in the advancement of memory semiconductors during his tenure at Samsung.
