The automotive industry is on the brink of a major breakthrough in autonomous vehicle testing thanks to the collaboration between dSPACE and the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center. This partnership has led to the development of a cutting-edge scenario generation feature that will revolutionize SIL/HIL testing and data-driven development within the dSPACE portfolio.

Utilizing a large language model (LLM) on Amazon Bedrock and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture, this new feature leverages scenario data provided by dSPACE to enable users to effortlessly create a wide range of complex and realistic scenarios. By simply entering a textual scenario description, automotive manufacturers and suppliers can now generate a multitude of scenarios, including edge cases in line with the ASAM OpenSCENARIO standard.
