Europe Unveils ‘AI Factories’

The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) Governing Board recently convened to discuss and update its Work Program, introducing a new objective focused on AI Factories. This strategic decision was made in response to the EU Regulation 2024/1732, which broadened the EuroHPC JU's scope to include the acquisition and operation of AI-optimized supercomputers.
