The latest IM12BxxxC1 series is built on the innovative TRENCHSTOP IGBT7 1200 V and rapid diode EmCon 7 technology. Leveraging the cutting-edge micro-pattern trench design, these power modules deliver exceptional control and performance, resulting in significant loss reduction, increased efficiency, and higher power density. The series comprises three new products with power ratings ranging from 10 A to 20 A, catering to power needs up to 4.0 kW: IM12B10CC1, IM12B15CC1, and IM12B20EC1.
The IM12BxxxC1 series comes in a compact DIP 36x23D housing that integrates various power and control components. This integration enhances reliability, optimizes PCB size, and reduces system costs, making it the smallest package for 1200 V IPMs with top-notch power density and performance in its category. These power modules are ideal for low-power drives in applications like motors, pumps, fans, heat pumps, and outdoor fans used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
The new IPM series features an isolated dual-in-line molded housing that ensures excellent thermal performance and electrical isolation. It meets the EMI and overload protection requirements of demanding designs. Additionally, the IPM is equipped with an independent UL-certified temperature thermistor. The CIPOS™ Maxi includes a robust 6-channel SOI gate driver with built-in dead time to safeguard against transients. It incorporates under-voltage lockout across all channels and over-current shutdown. The IPM's multi-function pin enables high design flexibility for various applications, with easy access to low side emitter pins for phase current monitoring.
