Spirent and Telescent collaborate on optical switching for test lab automation

Spirent Communications has recently announced a global strategic partnership with Telescent, focusing on integrating high-density optical switching into Spirent’s Velocity test lab automation portfolio. The collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve resiliency, and optimize connectivity for AI/ML workloads. The combined solution, available through Spirent’s global channels, will be fully supported by Spirent’s services team. The companies anticipate widespread adoption of the integrated solution in enterprise network test labs, AI/ML laboratories, hyperscale data centers, and equipment manufacturer validation facilities. By eliminating manual processes, the integration promises enhanced operational efficiency, reduced downtime, and improved scalability.
