This series of double-ended linear card-edge connectors features a unique beryllium copper spring contact system, setting it apart from other connectors in the market.

The 9159-7X0 Series is designed to provide high electrical and mechanical reliability, ensuring optimal signal integrity and durability even in harsh environment applications. This makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of industries, including industrial, LED lighting, automotive lighting, and transportation lighting.

One of the key advantages of the 9159-7X0 Series is its double-ended, single-piece, and solder-free-mating card-edge design. This design not only enhances convenience but also offers versatility with various configurations and plating options. The connectors are available in open- and closed-side configurations, with high-temperature white or black UL94 V-0 insulators.

Furthermore, the 9159-7X0 Series comes in five contact variations, ranging from 4 to 12 positions. Customers can choose between gold or tin over nickel contact plating, depending on their specific requirements. The connectors have a current rating of up to 2A per contact, ensuring reliable performance.

Designed to mate with 1.5mm-thick PCBs with gold- or tin-plated pads, the 9159-7X0 Series is rated for 150VACrms or the DC equivalent. It can withstand up to 1,000 cycles with gold-plated contacts (up to 20 cycles with tin) and operates within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +130°C.

The 9159-7X0 Series is UL and RoHS compliant, meeting industry standards for safety and environmental friendliness. Additionally, Kyocera offers customization options to suit specific customer requirements. The connectors are shipped in bulk quantities of 1,000 per bag, ensuring easy availability for manufacturers.
