XP Power has recently inaugurated its Silicon Valley Innovation Centre (SVIC) as the new North America Headquarters, marking a significant milestone for the company. The state-of-the-art 85,000-square-foot facility serves as a hub for research, technology development, design engineering, pilot manufacturing, warehousing logistics, and service/support, all housed under one roof for XP Power.

The establishment of the Innovation Centre is poised to revolutionize XP Power's development cycles, enabling the company to create cutting-edge power supplies tailored for diverse industries such as semiconductor, healthcare, military, and industrial sectors. The facility boasts a dedicated Reliability Lab equipped with multiple Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT), Highly Accelerated Stress Screen (HASS), and Environmental Chambers, underscoring XP Power's unwavering commitment to product reliability.

One of the standout features of the SVIC is the Etch Plasma Chamber, which focuses on system validation for semiconductor fabrication equipment. Additionally, a 3-meter Anechoic EMC Chamber complements the existing EMC compliance test stations, streamlining the time-to-market process. A specialized Test Development Team is also in place to design custom test equipment for unique power conversion applications, ensuring that XP Power's products meet the highest standards of performance and quality.

Speaking about the SVIC, Jay Warner, Executive Vice President of North America, emphasized the center's advanced capabilities, stating, "The SVIC’s sophisticated, fully digitalized workstations are globally connected, allowing seamless collaboration among our top talent. Our world-class, follow-the-sun implementation ensures continuous development and problem-solving around the clock, reducing time-to-market and accelerating our customers' timelines."

Warner further elaborated on XP Power's strategic vision, saying, "This investment underscores XP Power’s focus on growth and expansion over the next decade, particularly in the power conversion market's move into newer technologies enabling the Angstrom era. With extensive research and development labs, we aim to lead the next generation of innovation in power conversion technology."

As a frontrunner in power conversion technology, XP Power is actively expanding its market presence in key sectors such as medical, industrial, and semiconductor fabrication. The inauguration of the new Headquarters symbolizes the company's unwavering dedication to its customers, distributors, and employees. With the support of its global teams, XP Power is well-positioned to make a significant impact on the power conversion market in North America and beyond.
