Heilind Launches New Distribution Center in Germany

Heilind Electronics Europe has recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art distribution centre in Hanau, located near Frankfurt, Germany. This new facility is specifically designed to cater to the growing demand for interconnect, sensors, and fasteners in Central and Western Europe, with a focus on serving regions such as the DACH area, Benelux, Italy, and France. The strategic location of the distribution centre will enhance Heilind's ability to provide a more stable and efficient supply chain to its industrial and MIL/Aero customers.

The newly established distribution centre in Hanau covers an expansive area of over 8,000m2, which includes dedicated space for a Value-Add Centre and administrative offices. This significant footprint allows Heilind to significantly increase its storage capacity, enabling the company to stock a wider range of products to meet the fluctuating demands of the market. The inventory at the centre will include a variety of essential components such as relays, sensors, switches, thermal management products, circuit protection items, terminal blocks, wire and cable solutions, wiring accessories, fasteners, and insulation materials.

One of the key features of the Hanau distribution centre is the provision of Value-Added Distribution (VAD) services. These services encompass a range of value-added offerings such as kitting, re-reeling, special packaging, connector assembly, and more. The VAD services are tailored to address the diverse requirements of Heilind's customer base across Europe, ensuring that each client receives customized solutions to meet their specific needs.

Grzegorz Łyszczarz, the Managing Director of Heilind Electronics Europe, emphasized the company's commitment to customer-centric operations by stating, "We always aim to be close to our customers so we can provide an even higher level of service." He highlighted the significance of the German market for Heilind and the company's strategic decision to expand its presence in the region through the establishment of the new distribution centre in Hanau.
