IO Modules Featuring Auto-Bypass Function for Outages

The integration of IO modules with analogue and digital inputs and outputs plays a crucial role in connecting distributed sensors, actuators, meters, or relays across extensive areas or through the Internet. These digital input channels support the latch function for signal processing and can also function as 300 Hz meters. Additionally, the digital output channels support the pulse output module, while being compatible with protocols such as Modbus/TCP, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, and ARP.

By utilizing automatic DIO synchronization (peer-to-peer), users can define the direct allocation of two EX9250-MTCP modules to transfer input values directly to output channels. This feature enables the activation of an output channel (local or remote) based on the data pattern of the input channels (1/0 or toggle). In case the data pattern shifts from "agreement" to "non-agreement," the corresponding output is adjusted accordingly.

The EX9250-MTCP module, with its slim design at 2.75 cm, is suitable for top-hat rail assembly. The power supply connections (10 to 30 V DC) are facilitated through plug-in screw terminals, while the inputs and outputs are connected via plug-in terminals. Operating within an ambient temperature range of -10 to +70 °C as per industry standards, the module features LEDs on the front panel to indicate operational readiness and data communication status within the network.
