The XENSIV TLE49SR angle sensors are revolutionizing safety-critical automotive chassis systems, offering unparalleled performance in applications such as electric power steering and vehicle height leveling.

Designed to withstand stray magnetic fields of up to 8 mT, all products in the TLE49SR family exceed the stringent requirements of ISO11452-8 level IV for car hybridization and electrification. This eliminates the need for external shielding, making installation and integration seamless.

One of the standout features of these sensors is their exceptional intrinsic accuracy, which ensures an angle error of less than 1°. Through the use of a look-up table and multi-point calibration, the angle error can be further reduced to below 0.5°. This precision is crucial in compensating for angle deviations caused by mechanical misalignments during the manufacturing process.

Developed in accordance with ISO 26262 as a "safety element out of context," the TLE49SR sensors boast an ASIL C metric on the component level, enabling system designs up to functional safety level ASIL D. With an operating temperature range of -40 to 125 °C, these sensors are built to perform in a wide range of conditions.

To facilitate seamless data synchronization, a synchronization pulse is used to set a time stamp for all sensors on a common PSI5-bus, ensuring synchronous data transmission. Additionally, an EEPROM is included for storing configuration data, such as zero angle, and a customer-specific ID for enhanced customization.

The XENSIV TLE49SR angle sensor family is now available with PWM, SENT, or SPC interface options, catering to a variety of integration needs. Packaged in a TDSO-8 format for easy surface mounting, these sensors offer a versatile solution for automotive applications.
