The introduction of the CHARX Connect universal CCS vehicle charging inlets from Phoenix Contact has revolutionized High Power Charging by enabling a permanent 375 kW output. This advancement in technology allows for faster and more efficient charging of electric vehicles and mobile machinery, ultimately enhancing the overall user experience.

One of the key features of the new type 1 and type 2 CCS connector is its higher performance, which facilitates permanent and uncooled HPC charging. By utilizing conductor cross-sections of up to 120 mm² and optimizing the connection technology between the DC contacts and high-voltage cables, safe and efficient charging at 375 kW is made possible.

Under certain conditions, such as ambient temperature variations or specific charging profiles, the CHARX Connect inlets can achieve even higher charging powers exceeding 500 kW in Boost Mode. This flexibility caters to a wide range of charging needs and ensures compatibility with various charging scenarios.

Moreover, the HPC-capable CCS charging inlets boast an impressive degree of protection with IP6K6K and IP6K9K ratings in the front area, even when the charging flap is open. This level of protection shields the inlets against powerful jet water, high-pressure cleaning, steam jets, and dust ingress, ensuring durability and reliability in diverse environments.

Another notable advantage of the CHARX Connect inlets is their standardized external dimensions and screw-connection geometries.
