In the Chinese market, smartphone shipments for the third quarter slightly increased to 61.3 million units, with a year-on-year growth rate of 5%. This growth can be attributed to the strong demand for smartphones in the country.
Outside of China, due to the recovery in demand from emerging countries, smartphone shipments have been revised upward to 213.5 million units, narrowing the annual decline to 2.1%. This indicates a positive outlook for the global smartphone market, as emerging markets play a significant role in driving growth.
