Ideal for mixed signal semiconductor testing, the Series 144 single-in-line reed relays from Pickering are designed to handle power levels far exceeding those of traditional dry SIL reed relays (typically rated at 0.5 A at 10 W). Series 144 reed relays offer a switching current of up to 2 A, facilitating power delivery of up to 60 W, or 1 A for up to 80 W, and a continuous carry current of up to 3 A. Additionally, the range boasts high-voltage capability, with a switching voltage of 1000 VDC up to 10 W and up to 3 kV stand-off.
Series 144 is Pickering’s smallest miniature SIP reed relay with a power rating of up to 80 W. It combines the ability to effectively switch higher power with exceptional low-level performance. It also serves as a viable alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) due to its exceptional low-level performance and high isolation advantages.
Pickering’s comprehensive range of high-performance reed relays use only the highest quality reed switches and offer single-in-line (SIP), dual-in-line (DIP) through-hole and surface mount (SMD) packages. Available in various contact configurations, including 1 Form A (SPST N.O.), 2 Form A (DPST N.O.), 1 Form B (SPST N.C.), 1 Form C (SPDT changeover), 2 Form C (DPDT changeover) and 3 Form A (3PST N.O), Pickering reed relays are ideal for many applications including mixed-signal semiconductor testers, in-circuit test equipment, high-end cable testers, backplane testers, EVs (electric vehicles), medical electronics, solar energy, big physics, and high voltage instrumentation.
Commented Robert King, Product Development Manager at Pickering Electronics, “As the semiconductor and electronics ecosystem in India continues to grow and strengthen and Pickering continuously improves its reed relay offering for instrumentation and ATE, we anticipate interest at productronica India from diverse sectors and applications, including semiconductor test, signal switching in medical electronics, EV charging, solar cell monitoring, and high voltage instrumentation.”
Also on show from Pickering Group will be its modular signal switching and simulation technologies for electronic test and verification from Pickering Interfaces, as well as its cables and connectors from Pickering Connect.
